Artist's Statement: |
| The inspiration and creation of Art comes in many forms. This makes it exciting and challenging. I enjoy trying different techniques and mediums which are fulfilled in my art teaching and project work. My own artwork focuses on drawing; however, as an Art teacher I have educated children in the areas of painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, woodwork, textiles sculpture and photography. I have also been involved in community art projects and resident artist placements which included installation and mural painting, painted bollards, portraiture, set, prop and costume design for school plays. I enjoy being part of these projects as they are stimulating and a rewarding experience. It is exciting to work with a variety of people and see their artistic abilities grow and flourish. |
