The medium of glass,
the light, the life and colours within,
the illusory and evocative effects one can achieve
stirs my imagination.
But, it is in the act of creation itself that I am truly inspired.
With an extensive background in stained glass, leadlight and etched glass design and construction, painting and drawing, I bring many of these skills and techniques to the glass art I create today.
Utilizing a process of adhering, rather than fusing or leading, I am able to mix and use various types and textures of glass, as well as other objects, to create more dimension, interest and a lightness to my work.
